C. L. Brees was born and raised in rural Indiana, a place where he found the environment too restrictive for his overactive imagination. He had bigger plans and set his sights on exploring the world for inspiration.

A graduate of the University of Baltimore, C. L. Brees gained extensive knowledge of the world of forensics. He holds a B. S. in Forensic Science and an M. S. in Cyber Forensics.
